Credit Life Insurance

Credit life insurance provides coverage up to $50,000 in case of a member’s death. Credit life is available for all types of loans except Home Equity Lines of Credit. By selecting joint credit life insurance, you and your co-applicant can both have this coverage. You must be under 70 years of age to have credit life insurance.

Credit Disability Insurance

Credit disability insurance provides for the continued payment of the insured loan in the event of his or her disability that results from a covered accident or illness. Credit disability is available for all types of loans except Home Equity Lines of Credit.  Only the applicant is eligible for credit disability coverage. The maximum monthly total disability benefit is $850. To get credit disability, you must be under the age of 66 and work at least 25 hours per week at the time of enrollment.

What makes our premiums differ from many other financial institutions is that when you take out a loan we do not add to your loan the entire premium all at once like many financial institutions do. Instead, at the end of every month, the premium is added to your balance based on the balance of your loan as of the end of the month.
